Artist's Statement:

Swedish born Ingrid Karlsson-Kemp is a versatile mixed-media artist and workshop provider, based in Earl Sterndale in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. She is a visual storyteller working in rich textures, whether painting on handmade paper or stitching in fabric and fibre. Subject matter ranges from memories, journeys and experiences, to the seasonal landscapes of the Peak District or Northern Sweden. Workshops, demonstrations and talks focus on the developing story through pictures. Ingrid offers a wide range of affordable original work, mounted pictures, artist's cards and commissions.
