Artist's Statement:

I have recently completed an AHRC Advanced Research Fellowship in the creative and performing arts supported by Loughborough University. The research has allowed me to develop my interest and expertise in Light, Drawing and new technologies, with the aim of placing 'Light Drawings' in interesting architectural spaces. New technologies and the use of computer generated digital design drawings has opened up the possibility of creating art work that is multifaceted. The concept of 'Light Drawings' involves a wealth of processes and techniques including, animation, laser cutting, laser marking, vinyl cutting and different lighting and fabrication techniques. The latest project involves producing a limited edition art book (250 paper copies and 500 digital copies) which comprehensively illustrates the extensive research undertaken into the production, manufacture and realisation of a range of 'Light drawings'.
