Artist's Statement:

Mark Wood's professional practice is centred on photography. In a varied career Mark has been involved in public art and community projects, used digital imaging to create exhibitions and events, and lectured extensively in graphic communication.

Recent work includes: Arts in Rural Consultation, a year long project that sought the opinions of the hard to reach members of a Shropshire community; Britannia 150, an art project that engaged staff from across the group of companies that includes the Britannia Building Society; Places and Possibilities, a series of works that comment on the built environment.
