Artist's Statement:

With many themes and threads of thought to it, I find it hard to limit my creativity to one area and enjoy experimetning with media.

Textiles - inspired by the natural world, I transform drawings into batiks and prints embellished with hand and machine embroidery.

Interiors - exploring mass media images of interiors, playing with empty, perfect places and trying to give the objects in them a life of their own. Turning highly polished photographs into hand-drawn places where nothing is perfect.

Mono-priniting allows me to trace quickly and change images, adding my drawing style and the rough line and texture offered by the process.
