Artist's Statement:

Sarah is an artist with a concern for the relationship between people and place. She invites people to creatively engage with the environment, using a variety of media including drawing, writing, photography and sculpture. She particularly likes to use recycled materials or “found” objects.

Her projects usually start from a local concern with ecology, history, archaeology, geology; in fact anything which has local importance. This starting point makes space for the creative exploration of our relationship with our natural and/or built environment. Sarah’s work is usually collaborative and she has facilitated workshops for schools and communities using photography, writing, drawing and sculpture.
