Run by artists and for artists, Arts in the Peak collects and distributes news of funding opportunities, commissions, festival planning, etc. and works to ensure that official policies, strategies and documents take account of the key issues for those working in this loosely defined but distinctive rural area.

Congratulations to Ann Atkinson, who has been selected as the new Poet Laureate of the Peak. We had forty-seven applicants and the top ten poems selected by the judges are now published on our website. To read the top ten poems, click here.

Arts in The Peak is expanding its web presence, not only to publicise its own activities but those of its members. Its new webpages, will list members and events, allowing a one stop quick access to all the arts in The Peak District.
