pauline townsend - silk painter Pauline
Townsend has been a professional silk painter for 13 years. Working in the
traditional gutta resist style, her subject matter
ranges from floral studies to stylised landscapes and now incorporates a new
range - the quirky ÔBig BirdÕ series of illustrative seaside paintings. Pauline
is a member of Peak District Products and the Guild of Silk Painters. She
holds workshops for small groups at her studio in Buxton throughout the year.
